Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was a mix of surprises with a massive balcony overlooking the fjord but inconveniently located in a separate guest house. The service was welcoming and friendly, but the dining experience left something to be desired.
My stay at the hotel was excellent. The rooms were great - very clean, simple yet stylish, with enough space for us and our belongings. However, the roof windows had poor darkening, making it a bit hot with the sunny weather and no AC. The staff were friendly and provided good service, although I observed them taking coffee from the espresso machine when guests had to settle for coffee from a thermos can or pay extra. The location was beautiful, just outside Kolding with easy access to various attractions. The dining experience was a mix - some dishes were extraordinary while others were less than good. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor issues.
The hotel offers clean and stylish rooms but some are located in outer buildings away from the water, requiring the use of outdoor elevators. The location is stunning, situated on a beautiful south-facing hillside in a small forest, making it a peaceful and dramatic setting.
My stay at this hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms had a unique mix of designer furniture, but some pieces felt out of place. However, having a fantastic view with a terrace made up for it being in a secondary building. The service was generally professional, but there were some instances that lacked warmth. The location offered a peaceful stay close to Kolding and major highways, but it felt overwhelming with large business groups. The dining experience was above average, although lacking in fish specialties. Overall, a decent hotel with room for improvement.
